1. What are your hours?

We are open Monday through Friday, from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm by appointment only. Call 507-304-4251 to make an appointment.

2. How long does it take to receive my passport?

The passport agency is experiencing unprecedented delays. Check
travel.state.gov for more information.

3. Do you take photos onsite?

Yes, we take passport photos in our office for $15.

4. What will I need to bring in order to apply for a passport?

You will need a certified birth certificate and/or previously issued passport, a driver’s license, and a checkbook for payment. Please call our office at (507) 304-4251 for special circumstance passports including, but not limited to, adoptions, minors under 16, birth abroad, and naturalization.

5. Do both parents need to appear with minor children under 16?

Yes, unless one of the parents is not listed on the birth certificate or one parent has sole legal custody and can provide a certified copy of the court order.

6. How much will a passport cost?

An adult passport (age 16 and older including pictures and processing) is $160. A minor child’s passport (under 16 and including pictures and processing) is $130. Please note these prices are for routine service only. There are two separate payments involved with these fees.
