About the Park

An island with a 0.5 mile-long primitive trail allows exploration of the natural state of the island. A caretaker is in residence year round.  To reserve a shelter call (507) 524-3000. To reserve a campsite you do so online (new reservation system coming soon!) or call (507) 524-3000.  A copy of the campground reservation map allows you to preview reservation options prior to making any online reservations.
