About the Park
This scenic, wooded / open-space park provides a wide range of facilities for overnight campers and picnickers. An island with a 0.5 mile-long primitive trail allows exploration of the natural state of the island. A caretaker is in residence year round. To reserve a shelter call (507) 524-3000. To reserve a campsite you do so online (new reservation system coming soon!) or call (507) 524-3000. A copy of the campground reservation map allows you to preview reservation options prior to making any online reservations.
Location
Daly Park is on the northeastern shore of Lura Lake off County Road 191, about 4.5 miles southwest of Mapleton.
Lake
Lura Lake (1,263 acres) contains crappies, sunfish, perch, northerns, walleye, bass, and bullheads. A fishing pier and dock are provided with a double-ramped boat landing.

*Water to the camp sites and bath houses may be turned off prior to October 31st. The decision is based on weather and temperatures to prevent damage. There will be a water fill station available; please kindly ask your caretaker. We are sorry for any inconvenience.
