1. Do I need a license to haul garbage in Blue Earth County?

Yes:

• If you are hauling garbage for someone other than yourself. 
• If you are transporting garbage in or out of Blue Earth County.
• If you are transporting source-separated organics in or out of the County.
• If you have dirty demo- solid waste mixed with demolition debris.

No: 

• If you are hauling only construction and demolition debris.
• If you are a construction company that is hauling for your own project.
• If you are hauling recyclables. 
• If you are transporting garbage for your own household.
