The Blue Earth County EDA staff's goal is to promote adequate and affordable housing, economic opportunity, and a safe and suitable living environment free from discrimination. The housing division strives to determine the housing needs of the county and then work with local, state, and federal resources to meet these needs.

Ordinance Establishing an Affordable Housing Trust Fund
The Blue Earth County Board of Commissioners will hold a public hearing on August 27, 2024, at 9:00a.m. to consider an ordinance amending Blue Earth County Code, Chapter 2 establishing an Affordable Housing Trust Fund in accordance with Minnesota Statues, Section 462C.16. The ordinance is available for review below.
