Children newborn through the age of 20 who are enrolled in Minnesota Care or Medical Assistance are eligible for C&TC. In 2009, there were more than 400,000 children eligible for C&TC in Minnesota.

Diagnosing & Treating Health Problems Early

Comprehensive and periodic screening or well-child checkups are the foundation of the C&TC program. Periodic examinations or screenings are delivered according to a set schedule, the periodicity schedule, assuring that health problems are diagnosed and treated early, before they become more complex and treatment more costly.
