Services

The Sheriff’s Office Patrol Division is one of the most visible services offered by the Sheriff’s Office. The Chief Deputy and Patrol Captain command the division. Uniformed deputies provide law enforcement's services for 23 townships and nearly 750 miles of County roadways and the unincorporated villages / towns throughout Blue Earth County.

Providing Assistance

They also provide backup assistance to the local police departments. Patrol deputies are responsible for the protection of life, property, and the prevention of crime, detention, preservation of public peace, and enforcement of traffic laws. These highly-trained deputies strive to provide professional, courteous, and courageous law enforcement services that are vital to the citizens of Blue Earth County.
