Medical Assistance (MA) - MA is a health insurance program for people with lower incomes. It is Minnesota’s name for Medicaid. This program is available for families with children, pregnant women, single adults, childless married couples, the elderly, blind, and disabled.
MinnesotaCare - MinnesotaCare is a subsidized program for people who do not have access to affordable health care coverage. You pay a health insurance premium based on your income.
Coast2Coast Prescription Drug Discount Card - This is a free program for county residents to receive savings on their prescriptions. Everyone is eligible for the card. There are no age or income restrictions. One Card can cover an entire family and even pets. Request a card by calling Human Services at 507-304-4335.
