The Blue Earth County Sheriff's Office is hosting a youth snowmobile safety field day on December 16, 2023.
Students MUST complete the online portion of this training at https://www.snowmobilecourse.com/usa/minnesota/ and they MUST have the certificate of completion printed and brought to registration in order to attend the field day.
Registration begins at 7:30 AM. Class starts at 8:00 AM. Please arrive prior to 8:00 AM as the registration process takes some time. The class will go until 12:00 PM.
The class will be held at the BEC Sheriff’s Office (401 Carver Road, Mankato). Registration is on the north side of the building. There will be signage.
Students should dress for the weather with hat, gloves, winter jacket, snow pants, and boots. They may bring their own DOT approved snowmobile helmet or else we can supply them with one to use for the course. We will provide the snowmobile, please do not bring any snowmobiles to the class.
