January 17 | Early absentee voting begins for Presidential Nomination Primary (PNP). Ballots are mailed out for those precincts that vote by mail ballot. |
February 11 | Last day to pre-register to vote for PNP. |
February 24 | Direct ballot absentee voting (placing ballots directly in ballot counters) begins for PNP. |
February 25 | Minnesota Party Caucus Day. Go to www.mnvotes.org for detailed information. |
February 29 | Extended hours from 10am - 3pm for in-person absentee voting at the Historic Courthouse. |
March 2 | Last day for in-person absentee voting for PNP (until 5pm). |
March 3 | PNP Election Day. Most polling locations open 7am - 8pm. |
May 19 | Early candidate filing period opens for offices with a potential primary. |
June 2 | Early candidate filing period ends at 5pm for offices with a potential primary. |
June 4 | Candidate withdrawal deadline for offices with a potential primary. |
June 26 | Early absentee voting begins for Primary Election. Ballots are mailed out for those precincts that vote by mail ballot. |

October 13 | Pre-registration ends for General Election. Last day to pre-register to vote. |

October 31 | Extended hours from 10am - 3pm for in-person absentee voting at the Historic Courthouse. |
November 2 | Last day for in-person absentee voting for the General Election (5pm). |
