Finding an Adult Foster Care Provider
Adult Foster Care homes located throughout the area offer room and board and supervision to adults who have a disability, such as a developmental, and/or physical disability; mental health issue; or who are elderly. The county agency is responsible for initial and ongoing licensing activities to ensure compliance with Foster Care Rule 203.

Licensed homes include both corporate settings providing 24-hour supervision as well as family foster care situations.
The following resources can be accessed to learn of the adult foster care placement resources:

Minnesota Department of Human Services: provides a listing of all Minnesota licensed providers ( sortable by city, county, zip code, etc).  This list will also show any negative actions taken against the licensed provider.

Blue Earth County Human Services:  We can provide basic public information about the licensed providers, which includes any history of substantiated rule violations and negative actions taken against the provider. Please call 507-304-4172 or Licensor or Support Staff.
